Zachary M. Smith

Zachary is a member of the litigation team. He is civil litigator with significant experience in defense litigation, including general liability, bad faith and insurance coverage matters. Zachary has handled all aspects of complex litigation, including investigation, discovery, depositions, motions practice and trial.

Prior to joining Beresford Booth, Zachary practiced in the Seattle office of a national litigation firm. He also practiced with an insurance defense and complex litigation firm earlier in his career. He is results-oriented and thrives on zealously advocating on behalf of his clients. He has counseled clients through all stages of litigation.

Zachary serves as the vice president of the board for the Bainbridge Boys Lacrosse Club, a non-profit organization that supports and manages lacrosse programs for boys in grades Kindergarten through 12 in his hometown of Bainbridge Island, WA.  

In his free time, Zachary enjoys spending time with his wife Fiona and their two dogs, Neah and Daisy. They enjoy adventures together and renting cabins off the beaten path. He is also an avid University of Tennessee football fan.
