Joshua G. R. Curtis
Joshua’s practice focuses on helping people and companies answer legal questions to meet their goals. The first step in that process is listening to a client and really understanding what they are trying to accomplish. The second step is relying on past experiences and researching new approaches to give the client options on various resolutions.
Joshua has worked with many buyers, sellers, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, title companies and other parties involved in purchase and sale transactions. He has worked with real estate investors, family partnerships and business partners to plan ahead or resolve issues related to co-ownership of property. He has also helped families with estate planning and the probate process.
Joshua understands that for a client to make the best decision for themselves, education is critical. Joshua has taught classes on estate planning, probate and other real estate topics and has enjoyed the opportunity to share the experience that he has gained since 2009 when he was admitted to practice in Washington. He focuses on clear communication, straightforward explanation of legal issues and compassion for client’s concerns.
Joshua was born and raised in the Seattle area and currently lives in Lynnwood. He received his bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Washington and his juris doctorate from Seattle University School of Law. Joshua is married and has four children. He enjoys any activity in the woods, throwing axes and knives and spending time with family.
