Caleb J. Tingstad
Caleb is an associate in the Business & Banking Law, Real Estate Law, and Litigation groups where he advises small and medium-sized businesses through formation, growth, exit, and dispute resolution. Caleb’s transactional experience includes guiding clients in asset and stock sales, financing, intellectual property protection, and succession planning.
Caleb leverages his transactional experience by advising business owners through “business divorce” disputes where co-owners separate, frequently through litigation. The combination of transactional and dispute resolution experience allows Caleb to provide a pragmatic approach to resolving “business divorce” disputes to obtain the best possible results for his clients.
Caleb developed his practice with experience at both national and small law firms based in Seattle. His current clients are located across Washington and include a collection of individuals, families, boards of directors, closely-held companies, and non-profits.
Caleb serves a member of member of the Washington State Bar Association’s Partnership Law Committee, which regularly advises the Washington legislature on necessary changes to Limited Liability Company Act, Revised Uniform Partnership Act, and Revised Uniform Limited Partnership Act.
Prior to joining Beresford Booth, Caleb played football at Western Oregon University. He continues to enjoy his passion for football as a coach for the King’s High School varsity football team. In addition to coaching football, Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife, collecting wine, and traveling.
