Lisa H. Do
Lisa joined the firm in 2019 and handles family law matters in King and Snohomish Counties. As both an experienced litigator and Collaborative Law attorney, she recognizes the benefits of resolving disputes outside of court through alternative dispute resolution, such as mediation and the collaborative divorce process, to reduce conflict and reach a durable resolution. She believes clients and families are best served by providing respectful and compassionate representation and maintaining integrity and civility. When contested litigation is necessary, she is dedicated to navigating for clients what can be a complex legal system, while also fighting for the best outcome for them and their families.
Lisa first became interested in practicing family law while volunteering at local community centers for children. There, she met parents who were experiencing the emotional distress of a divorce and had difficulties understanding the challenging nuances of the legal system. Her desire to help these parents catapulted her into law school and from there she has offered service and value to many satisfied clients.
Lisa’s experience spans over 17 years, representing clients in all areas of family law including collaborative divorces, contested/uncontested divorces, custody and visitation, spousal support, child support, post-divorce matters, relocation, pre/post-nuptial agreements, and paternity. She is well equipped to resolve cases in the most advantageous manner for her clients as a collaboratively trained attorney and seasoned litigator. She also has experience in general civil litigation and was formerly an accountant. She finds that her general litigation and accounting background is a benefit in family law cases when dealing with complex financial issues, high-asset divorces, asset valuations, and businesses.
When not practicing law, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and trying new restaurants. Born and raised in Washington, she also likes to take advantage of the many outdoor activities and recreational destinations in the Pacific Northwest.
