Community Spotlight – Boys & Girls Clubs (King County)

Beresford Booth was a proud sponsor of the recent Boys & Girls Club Gala: A Roaring Night of Glamour & Giving benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of King County.  It was an excitement-filled evening that included a silent auction, games, dinner, a live auction, and an entertaining program.  Many generous people came together to make the evening possible, and at last count, over $1,000,000.00 was raised.

This year alone, there was a 5% increase in youth attending the clubs and an 11% increase in requests for financial aid which allows kids from all backgrounds a safe haven and a productive environment to enjoy experiences and opportunities that many would otherwise be unable to access.

Beresford Booth Attorney Anne Bennette serves on the Club Advisory Board of the North Seattle Boys & Girls Club.  The Boys & Girls Club creates youth-centric Club experiences through culturally relevant, inclusive, and diverse programming. Their mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those in need, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.  They strive to provide a safe place to learn and grow ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals, life enhancing programs, character development experiences, hope and opportunity.
