We Are a Primerus Firm
For many years Beresford Booth has held a membership in Primerus, an international society of independent law firms. Such an honor does not come easily, nor is it something our firm takes lightly: earning a Primerus membership requires a consistent commitment to excellence.
As a Primerus firm, we hold connections to hundreds of other Primerus firms across the country and around the globe. Locally, Beresford Booth consists of 15 lawyers with wide-ranging legal expertise and extensive experience in Washington jurisdictions. However, our diverse client base often challenges us with complex legal questions necessitating expertise outside of our state, and even outside our country. In those circumstances, our Primerus membership gives us access to hundreds of proven, independent firms around the world to assist us with the complex legal needs of our clients.
Earning a Primerus Membership
Every Primerus firm, including Beresford Booth, endures the rigorous vetting process mandatory for acceptance by Primerus. The vetting process requires each firm, and each lawyer within that firm, to demonstrate a willingness to commit to a set of common values known as the Six Pillars:

- Community service
Only after a firm is properly vetted, and each lawyer within that firm validates the commitment to follow the Six Pillars, can the firm earn a Primerus membership. Once admitted to the Primerus society, each Primerus lawyer takes the Six Pillars seriously. The Six Pillars serve to guide how we conduct our practice as a firm and as individual lawyers.
