Community Spotlight: Homage Senior Services

Beresford Booth is excited to feature Homage Senior Services as our community spotlight this month.  Last week, a group of Beresford Booth employees joined Homage staff members to pack Thanksgiving meals to be delivered to homebound older adults and people with disabilities throughout Snohomish County. Homage has been packing and delivering meals for over 20 years, and Beresford Booth has been participating for nearly 10 years.  We are proud to have our own Todd Cook serve on the Homage Board of Directors.

Background

Homage Senior Services is a non-profit organization that has been providing essential support and valuable services to low-income older adults and people with disabilities in Snohomish County for over 50 years.  These services include mental health support, food and nutrition services, support for coordination of care, transportation and minor home repairs.

Transportation Assistance Program (TAP) – TAP helps provide safe and reliable transportation for older adults and people with disabilities that live outside the DART service areas in Snohomish County. Vehicles are wheelchair accessible and are available to deliver those in need to health care services, senior centers, shopping, recreation and more.  Click HERE to find out more about TAP.

How To Help

Volunteer – Homage has a Senior Companionship Program in need of volunteers.  All of us can use a little help and friendship.  If you can give a few hours a week and would like to know more about how you can help, click HERE.

Mission
