As Summer arrives in the Pacific Northwest, the lawyers and staff at Beresford Booth are proud to spotlight an outstanding local organization that thrives during this time of year: Pacific Little League (or “PLL”). For over 50 years, Pacific Little League has provided opportunities for the youth of the greater Edmonds area to participate in the great games of baseball and softball.
While operating under the National Little League rules and guidelines, Pacific Little League places an emphasis on “providing an outlet of healthful activity and training” to youth in the community, and “helping children become good and decent citizens” (PLL’s Mission Statement). PLL has a tremendous history of success in producing both quality softball and baseball players and citizens. On-the-field success culminated with the 2014 PLL All Star Baseball team earning a trip to Williamsport, Pennsylvania to represent the Western United States in the international little league tournament.
Beresford Booth is pleased to support Pacific Little League and to be involved with the league in a variety of ways. In addition to a league sponsorship, lawyers and staff have served as coaches and umpires for both baseball and softball teams through the various levels of PLL. With Summer upon us and baseball and softball season in full swing, please consider learning more about this outstanding organization here, and discover how you might be able to contribute to Pacific Little League’s success.
