Beresford Booth Lawyer Kelsey Affronte – Washington Women Lawyers (WWL) Snohomish County Chapter Member of the Year
Beresford Booth is proud to announce the selection of lawyer Kelsey L. Affronte as the Washington Women Lawyers (WWL) Snohomish County Chapter Member of the Year for her outstanding work with the Judicial Evaluation Committee (JEC). Kelsey will be receiving her award at the Annual Banquet this Saturday, October 7th. The JEC works diligently to produce meaningful evaluations of judicial candidates with the desire to sustain and strengthen the judiciary through appointment and election of excellent judicial candidates. Qualified candidates, especially those who are sensitive to women’s issues are encouraged to seek and obtain positions of responsibility and stature within the legal profession and the community. Kelsey almost single-handedly set the Snohomish JEC this year. She did an excellent job of chairing the meetings and finding other members to participate on the committee. This has been a huge part of the chapter that has been missing and the WWL is grateful for all Kelsey’s hard work and willingness to take on projects to benefit the chapter.
Kelsey is a skilled associate in our litigation group with over 6 years of experience. She has extensive trial experience and zealously represents her clients. Her vast knowledge, abilities and passion add great value to our litigation team at Beresford Booth.
Prior to joining Beresford Booth, Kelsey served in the Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for over four years. She managed significant caseloads in a variety of units including District Court, Non-Violent and Felony Domestic Violence Units. She received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law in 2017 after graduating from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in law, societies and justice. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center in Everett and is a Member of Washington Women Lawyers.
