Please join us in congratulating Beresford Booth Attorney Mackenzie Bretz, 2025 recipient of the prestigious TOP 10 (Under 40) Attorney Award for Washington State designated by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (NAFLA)!

NAFLA was founded in 2013 with the primary objective to uncover and honor the TOP 10 family law attorneys in each state for their dedication and impactful work.  Each recipient is nominated by other licensed attorneys or one of NAFLA’s team members. The research staff conducts an extensive verification process to confirm the worthiness of each recipient.

Mackenzie is an Associate at Beresford Booth on our Family Law Team.  She works with individual clients and families to navigate challenging times across a variety of family law issues. She cares deeply about her clients and works hard to listen and understand their needs to help guide them to the best possible outcomes. Mackenzie also serves our community by volunteering for the Washington State Bar Client Protection Board and sits on the board for Washington Women Lawyers. 

Mackenzie has earned the organization’s highest honor because of the “hard work and dedication” she shows in representing her family law clients.
