Beresford Booth congratulates new lawyer Matthew A. Combs and is proud to welcome him to our team. Matt is an associate and serves the Business, Mergers & Acquisitions Team, the Litigation Team and the Real Estate Team. Matt brings a fresh perspective, a dedicated work ethic, a passion for oral advocacy and highly skilled legal drafting and research to the firm.
Matt served as a law clerk at Beresford Booth while attending Willamette University School of Law. He has considerable experience in litigation, from initial case assessment and legal research to drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, mediation, discovery, declarations, settlement demands and appellate briefings.
Demonstrating sound judgment beyond his years, Matt delivers positive outcomes. He is a detail-oriented critical thinker that carefully works through challenges his clients face to find successful results. He listens carefully to what his clients want to accomplish, not just the legal issue in isolation. He cares deeply about his clients and is passionate about his work, bringing thorough strategy to his cases.
