Community Spotlight – Edmonds Boys & Girls Club
Beresford Booth was a proud sponsor of the HB Classic Golf Tournament that took place last weekend at Harbour Pointe Golf Course benefitting the Edmonds Boys & Girls Club. The Edmonds Boys and Girls Club was the third Boys & Girls Club in Snohomish County when it opened in 1968. They are currently raising money to replace their 100-year-old building with a new facility triple its size. The new facility will include an 8,000 square foot gym, a computer lab, STEM Center and have a specific area for virtual reality interaction. They are still shy of their $6 million goal. Our support enables them to “provide a variety of programs and team sports that promote opportunities for healthy lifestyles, leadership, friendship, skill development, academic success, self-discipline and much more.”
The Edmonds Boys & Girls Club is part of a larger group in Snohomish County. The 2023 Reach for the Stars Grand Gala benefiting all the boys’ and girls’ clubs throughout Snohomish County will take place on Saturday, September 30th at the Tulalip Resort Casino beginning at 5:00 p.m. This will be a fun-filled evening that includes an auction, dinner, and inspirational purpose.
