Community Spotlight: Kiwanis Club of Edmonds
Beresford Booth would like to recognize the great community work of the Kiwanis Club of Edmonds. Since 1978, they continue to find ways to support young children and adolescent programs in our community. The Kiwanis Club supports Washington Kids in Transition, Bridge Receiving Center, Dawson Place, Clothes for Kids, Dale Turner Family YMCA, Children’s Hospital, Edmonds Food Bank and more. Those organizations help provide financial support, clothing, food, housing, and childcare for children in need.
The Kiwanis Club members not only raise money to support deserving programs they also donate their time and volunteer in the community. You will find members volunteering at several community events, including the Taste of Edmonds which takes place every summer.
Kiwanis Club of Edmonds holds a variety of fundraisers throughout each year. They will be holding their largest fundraiser, their annual dinner and auction, “Raising the Tide for Kids” on Friday, April 28th, 2023. We are a proud sponsor again this year and hope the event is a huge success and the Kiwanis Club surpasses their fundraising goals so they can continue doing their wonderful work.
